These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of stabilityprotocol.space and the calculators, guides, and content offered there (the "Service"), operated by Stability Protocol ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law and are not barred from receiving services under it. The Service is not directed to children under 16.

2. License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Religious Disclaimer (Important)

Stability Protocol is an educational tool. The Zakat calculations, guides, and madhab descriptions provided are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a religious ruling (fatwa). Rulings on Zakat depend on personal circumstances, the chosen school of jurisprudence (madhab), the assets in question, and local custom. Always consult a qualified Islamic scholar (mufti) for binding guidance on your specific situation.

While we make best efforts to align our methodology with mainstream scholarly opinions across the four Sunni madhabs (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali) and to cite reputable sources, no calculator can replace personal scholarly counsel.

4. No Financial, Legal, or Professional Advice

Content on the Service does not constitute financial, tax, legal, or other professional advice. We are not registered as a financial advisor, tax advisor, or legal counsel in any jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the Service.

5. Accuracy and Live Prices

We strive for accuracy, but gold and silver prices fluctuate continuously and price feeds can occasionally be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable. Currency conversion rates are indicative only. Always verify current prices and the resulting Zakat figure with a reliable independent source before fulfilling your obligation.

6. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, advertisements served by Google AdSense, and price data sourced from public providers. We do not control and are not responsible for any third-party content, products, or services. Third-party advertising is governed by the third party's own terms and privacy policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including the source code, design, text, illustrations, databases, calculator logic, and brand assets — is owned by Stability Protocol or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or republish any part of the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial reading and quoting with attribution is welcome.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically harvest content beyond what our robots.txt and the publicly documented agent-skills endpoint permit.
• Attempt to disrupt, probe for vulnerabilities, or overload our infrastructure.
• Misrepresent the calculator's outputs as a binding religious ruling on behalf of any scholar or institution.
• Reproduce or rehost the calculator on a different domain without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Stability Protocol, its contributors, or its hosting providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability is limited to one hundred euros (€100) or the equivalent in your local currency.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stability Protocol from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. The clauses that by their nature should survive termination (Sections 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 14) shall continue to apply.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply and provide a different forum.

15. Language Versions

These Terms are published in English, French, Arabic, and Urdu. In case of any discrepancy or conflict between language versions, the English version prevails.
